El Tokyu Stay Shibuya está situado a solo 10 minutos a pie de la estación de Shibuya y ofrece alojamientos amplios y modernos que se renovaron en diciembre de 2011. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is tucked away by the rails away from the main road, so it was easy to pull over and park to load and unload. The drink machine in the lobby and the free Yakult by the Japanese bathing facilities was nice too.

This is clearly not the cheapest hotel around tokyo, but I if you like shopping and going out to izakayas, this is one of the best options. There is a Mega Don Quijote at 7 min walking distance, a Uniqlo, Zara, HyM and so many other brands, and believe me, the last days you will probably buy LOTS of things. It is a strategic point when you are with big bags. Other locations are awesome, but it’s quite a hazle carrying lots of bags specially in trains or if you have back problems. Anyway, amenities were nice, quite a good space for the room, and there is a nice coffee store at the entrance of the hotel.
