This place was a great location, the price is awesome and the room was comfortable and clean! You do have to pay for the onsen pass yourself but the yukata room is free to use and fully stocked with all sorts of colors patterns and accessories. The cafe on the first floor served breakfast and it was quite good!

Well situated in the Kinosaki Onsen district of Toyooka, Japanese Guesthouse Kinosaki Wakayo (Female Only) is set 2.8 km from Kinumaki Shrine, 4.2 km from Seto Shrine and 4.8 km from North Disaster... The ladies that run the place are the sweetest people ever, they were always ready to help :) The house is beautiful, the traditional ryokan with paper walls and tatami everywhere.. and it's literally 1 minute from the center Totally recommended!

2.8 km from Kinumaki Shrine, Kinosaki Onsen Hanakouji Saigetsu is a recently renovated property situated in Toyooka and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. The room was big and clean. The location is also good. It was near to the train station, restaurants and shops.

Offering sea views, Miharaso is an accommodation set in Toyooka, 1.4 km from North Disaster Earthquake Monument and 1.9 km from Kehi Shrine. Great breakfast was provided, and the staff are super nice even if there's a language barrier. It's a bit of a distance from the Onsen town but the staff picked us up from the train station and brought us to the hotel, then dropped us back off at the Onsen town with a pickup time and location to meet them when it was time to leave. They even loaned us umbrellas due to the rain. If you're on a budget but want to go to Kinosakionsen town and have a nice stay you can't do much better than this

Dinner and breakfast was excellent. About 5 mins walk from the station. The ryokan allows one free use of the private onsen for 45 mins which you have to book during check-in.
