Located in Unawatuna, a few steps from Unawatuna Beach, The Waves Unawatuna features views of the sea. The location was right on the beach. The room was large with a great bathroom. The best shower we had on our trip. The balcony was lovely overlooking the sea. The staff were amazing. The air-con leaked and was fixed in under 2 hours. We even had a small present on leaving. We also had a late 5pm check out. Absolutely faultless hotel

Facing the beachfront, Una Beach Hotel & OLU Cafe offers 2-star accommodation in Unawatuna and has a garden, terrace and restaurant. Simple, but nice and clean rooms, very cosy commmon outdoor area, yummy breakfast. Extremly friendly staff. Only few steps to the beach.

Thaprobane Beach House ligger på hovedstranden i Unawatuna, og har 2 spisesteder og rom med aircondition og utsikt over havet og grøntområdene. Wi-Fi er gratis i fellesområdene. this is our second time to the Thaproban and we love it. the staff in particular are very friendly and always there to make sure you have what you need be it a sunchair or a drink from the bar. the location is the best on the beach, best for swimming and view, and the big hulking hotel is out of sight. Breakfast is excellent, even the Western which we almost never order, and the dinner menu while touristic and seafood based (to be expected) was very good especially the tuna and crab The rooms are lovely, we splurged for the penthouse with balcony and didn’t want to leave. we will be back!
