Our stay at Pahan Chhen was the perfect beginning to our travels in Nepal. The breakfast/coffee and rooftop restaurant served excellent food and drinks. We stayed in the family suite on the 4th floor which has views over Patan Durbar Square and if you open the balcony door in the bedroom you may even see the Himalaya. A great spot away from the hustle of Kathmandu. The real star of this hotel is however the staff. They could not be more courteous and helpful. Thanks to Pushkar, Bhumi, Sibesh, Bipin, Suriman, Binita, Binod, Puja, and to the many others I have not mentioned who work here. We greatly appreciated your hospitality!

A lovely little hotel with great staff, comfy rooms, in a fantastic part of town. The staff really went out of their way to help us and nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfasts were filling and on our last morning they prepared a packed breakfast for an early start, which was great. Just metres from the Patan Durbar Square, too, which is the very best part of Kathmandu to stay in. Lots of restaurants in the area but quiet after about 9pm.

Featuring a temperature controlled infinity swimming pool, spa and fitness centre, as well as two restaurant, Vivanta Kathmandu is situated in Kathmandu. A taj property always known for being clean, self contained and children friendly. it was walking distance to the zoo and to patan durbar (the best by the dusk) Rapchik dosa by chef Chandra Prakash is absolute delight. dinner on the 10th floor is feast for the tummy s as no stunning view of Kathmandu is treat to the eyes. Staff was awesome Ritesh and Albina at main desk and Bibek at Mynt were super friendly. the security guys were always helpful with getting a cab.

Hotel Goodwill is located barely 200 metres from the Mahaboudha Temple, a masterpiece of brick and tile, and the ancient Rudravarna Mahavihar. It features an outdoor swimming pool. The staffs and the owner of the hotel is superb, taking care of us like family. The room is spacious and very comfy bed and pillows. And the security of the hotel is great. No worries about safety.
