Amazing hotel, in a superb location, with lots of great restaurants and bars in a walking distance. The staff is super kind and attentive, the room is clean and comfortable, the rooftop bar and the swimming pool are just perfect, providing us with a great relaxation after a busy day touring the island. Would absolutely stay again, highly recommended!

Šī atjaunotā Madeiranas savrupmāja atrodas 900 metru attālumā no Funšalas vecpilsētas, un no tās botāniskajiem dārziem un terasēm paveras ainavisks skats uz jūru, pilsētu un kalniem. We missed our connection flight and arrived to the hotel in the middle of the night. Despite the time, Nuno welcomed us with a smile and very patient explanations and made the start of our trip in Madeira very pleasant. Also the rest of the staff was very nice, attentive and helpful. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. The hotel's garden is gorgeous and has a nice panoramic view of the sea and was the perfect place for breakfast. Breakfast was excellent with large variety. It is highly recommended.

Offering a terrace and city view, Alexia Room is set in Funchal, 1.7 km from Marina do Funchal and 15 km from Girao Cape. Alexandra is a great host, super friendly, and helpful. She personally welcomed us, even though we arrived very late. The room was super comfortable, and the breakfast was great, fruit, bread, cheese, ham, yogurt and some sweets 😋. She also have some fruit and welcome snacks ready for us.

Situated in Funchal and only 500 metres from Almirante Reis Beach, Apartments Madeira Barreirinha features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The staff was amazing. Luciano and Orlando are very kind and welcoming. Luciano made an effort to fulfil our requests on check-in and his colleague Orlando checked us in relatively late on a Friday evening. They gave us the best advices on the best places to eat espetadas, fish and bolo do caco. And also where to drink poncha close by. It was a very good advice to avoid driving after drinking a 50% alcoholic drink 😅 The facilities are great and depending on the room you book, the views are amazing with views to the ocean and the east part of the city. The building has an underground parking and they give you the keys for you to park inside, which is extremely handy given the lack of parking in the public streets all over the city. We didn't use because we went in January, but they also have a swimming pool on the rooftop!

Dona I Apartments at Botanical Garden features sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Funchal, 1.9 km from Almirante Reis Beach. Beautiful clean apartment, friendly host and the view from the rooftop apartment terrace was georgeous, will definitely come back!!

In the Santa Maria district of Funchal, close to Almirante Reis Beach, Agnelo Comfort - Accommodation H V has free WiFi and a washing machine. This guest house features accommodation with a balcony. We had an amazing stay at this comfortable apartment! Central location to the market across the street and grocery stores and bus and the waterfront promenade. It felt like we were locals going to the grocery store and taking the bus, not like tourists! The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need! We loved it! Jose was a wonderful host and he was in touch with us from the moment we landed at the airport and any time we had a question he was quick to answer all of our questions! We didn't have a problem with noise from the market early morning but we always travel with a white noise machine so we didn't hear anything. We found the bed super comfortable. We were there for almost 2 weeks and cannot wait to go back to Madeira and hope that Jose's apartment is available when we do!! Thank you so much Jose!!
