The artistic history of the place is overwhelming (ask about your room number), and the recent renovations perfectly honor this and the building's original architectural beauty without compromising on modern comfort. Nothing corporate or institutional about this place; on the contrary, it's just dripping with character and whimsy. Don't miss the lobby bar, cafe, or especially El Quijote, as these are all exceedingly beautiful and luxurious. The staff are largely friendly and accommodating, and the building is well located (a straight 10min walk from Penn Station, close to Greenwich Village, etc.). Pretty crazy that a hotel could tempt me away from exploring Manhattan. I never wanted to leave, and can't wait to return.

We thought the staff were extremely personable and attentive. The hotel was always so busy and in all honesty we observed a lot of rude people from overseas who were quite disrespectful to the staff (particularly to the lovely staff at breakfast) and they were all amazing at showing self control and patience. We thought every staff member we came across had excellent customer service. We would happily stay there again.

Offering a complimentary breakfast, Hyatt House New York/Chelsea is 644 metres from the Empire State Building. The staff was great! We loved talking to Yahsheed about NY life, Brooklyn, the Bronx etc. Location great! Nice, clean room with enough space, comfortable beds.The mini market at the reception turned out to be of great use for our 2 adult kids who enjoyed their easy access to Red Bull. Would definitely stay here again! Lots of love from The Red Bull Family

The position was perfect. The room not large but perfect for the standard of NY and it was very clean. Very recommended.

INNSIDE New York NoMad is located 644 metres from Madison Square Park and less than 1 km from the Empire State Building. Madison Square Garden is 483 metres away. Free WiFi is offered. Perfect location! Great comfort and cleanliness! And... amazing people/staff! The best hotel we've stayed at in Chelsea so far!
