We stayed here for our first 4nights of our honeymoon in South Africa and it could not have been any more perfect. We stayed in the junior suite. The moment we arrived we received a very strong friendly welcome. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only a couple short steps from the centre of the V&A so location was ideal. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety for all. The room was very spacious, extremely clean and we had a fantastic view of the table top mountain. Highly recommend a stay here.

Built in the 1800’s as a private residence for the harbour master, this beautifully restored building, situated in the V&A Waterfront, is home to one of Cape Town’s most exclusive boutique hotels. We loved the layout and room size. Great to see that a former building has been converted to hotel use without losing the original features.

The entire staff was so welcoming and helpful. I was sad to leave them. Llewelyn was especially great, as was the bartender No More. I world like to again say thank you to them snd to everyone else!
