Hostel da Vila was an amazing experience! Me and my friend arrived at the hostel and were immediately met by the friendly staff who the showed us around the place. The hostel has everything you can ask for. It has a pool with a slack line across, a huge slide, a skate ramp, a pool table, a tattoo shop, a bar that makes the best food and drinks. I especially recommend the Vila Mule! The location is perfect. It’s a 2 minute walk down to the center where you can easily catch a bus to the rest of the island. At night we would play games and have fun at the hostel with the staff and residents until 11/12 ish where we would all go to the city center and dance samba in the street or listen to forró and mingle with everyone. We are definitely coming back.

I love the place, it was very cleaned, comfortable, well located, quiet and all the staff was really helpful and nice. I stayed at the camping and it was perfect you have a well equipped kitchen and fridge in case you want to store something.

- Great location, and a really pretty one at that, with a nice river running through the grounds - Bathrooms were relatively clean and nice for a campsite, with attentive staff - Receptionist was really friendly and helpful - A nice common kitchen area with two ovens and two fridges

The staff was great, specially Osvaldo was supper attentive and always ready to help the guests :) The location is also amazing, super near the water and the nigh out zone! :)
