The owner was a very nice man who welcomed us in a special way on arrival. Thank you. The accomodations are 'tents' but very comfortable. Daily breakfast was very good. Generally, continental, but you are offered scrambled or fried eggs cooked to order. Pool area is very nice. Beautiful grounds.

The tent's kitchen, which features a refrigerator and kitchenware, is available for cooking and storing food. This tent has a desk, a patio, garden views and a private bathroom. The unit has 1 bed. This place is amazing. If you are looking for a typical hotel experience, this may not be your place. If you are looking for something off the beaten path more about personal wellness and being in nature, this is your perfect choice. The place was amazing with great hikes and waterfalls directly on the property. The food was excellent. Everything was very clean and the wifi worked well enough. This place offered a great combination of feeling like you are secluded in nature but also providing you with modern day amenities. There arent many guests staying there and at times we felt alone. The owners and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Pretty much any reasonable request will be granted. Thank you Johnny and EZ for a wonderful time!

The tents were brand new with a gorgeous view. The owners were also very helpful and recommended us activities in the area. The restaurant next door serves excellent breakfast.

Providing free toiletries, this tent includes a private bathroom with a shower. The tent features a terrace with outdoor furniture and garden views for your convenience. The unit offers 3 beds. Cabins totally in the forest. Very clean. Excellent meals prepared when possible with local if not their own products. Very welcoming ambiance. The staff (front desk and restaurant) are very nice, very dedicated, and do all they can to make your stay enjoyable. To live Costa Rica, you have to stay there!

Essence Arenal is an ecological hotel surrounded by Tropical Forest that offers a wellness center to tourists, it is surrounded by gardens and beautiful views of Lake... the short trail for the yoga on 6:30a.m in the morning is one of the greatest moments in Costa Rica. food was great, area and surroundings just perfect. it’s a pitty we had only two nights.
