The park is in a beautiful setting. The bathrooms, showers and communal kitchen/lounge area were all very clean and well-maintained. We were in a cabin that was very comfortable. The nature walk is definitely worth doing and leads to very impressive waterfall.

Sue and Andy were such gracious enthusiastic and helpful hosts. They were spot on with insisting we stay 1/2 hour longer on the beach to see the sunset and then the star display. Rabbit Island Glamping sits privately from Rabbit Island Huts accessed via its own walk bridge. The glamping tent was awesome. Secluded spot, away from the rest of the accomodation. The view was amazing! We would definitely stay here again!

Featuring a private entrance, this air-conditioned mobile home is comprised of 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom with a hairdryer. Amazing tiny home in an awesome quiet, peaceful and elevated location with spectacular views down Akaroa harbour. 15 min drive into Akaroa but the tranquil peaceful location is magic. Accomodation is on a lavender farm and there are walking trails and full access to the rows of lavender. Lyn and Malcolm were exceptional hosts! Very friendly, kind and at tentative to our needs. Make sure to purchase some pacific blue lavender essential oil! Nice touches in the tiny house - with cushions that showcase the indigenous pigeons the place is named after and lavender water spray. Note that the toilet is a cassette toilet - this was not a problem for us - but it may be a surprise to others

Sandy and Steve were wonderful hosts and brought us delicious breakfasts in the morning - the cheese scones were a highlight. Super relaxing stay!
