A recently renovated campground located in Bidiyah, Al Salam Desert Camp Bidiya features a shared lounge. The experience was amazing. Staff is great, special thanks to Naim ! Plenty of different activities proposed, we did quad and sandboard and it was such a good time. Food is a buffet with plenty of choices and the room was super clean and really comfortable. They are in the middle of the desert, easy to access by yourself with a 4x4 (even normal car could access, there is a little road to go there in the desert). I do not regret to have choose Salam camp desert. I definitely recommand it !

Pusryčiai ir vakarienė - labai gardūs ir gausūs.

The tent's kitchenette, which features kitchenware, is available for cooking and storing food. Situated in Bidiyah, SandGlass Camp features accommodation with seating area. Great value for a dune camp-you will pay a lot more for a similar experience, but you will miss out on Said's generous hospitality. The free pickup from the meeting point was greatly appreciated, as I only had a 2WD sedan. Said offers coffee, tea & dates all day, and was always available for a friendly chat. At night, he turns the camp lights off so you can lounge under the stars. The dinner package was delicious, and I assume breakfast was as well, but I brought my own. Before staying, you must know that dune camps involve a certain degree of rustic atmosphere (tents, bathroom stalls), so if you are looking for hotel luxury, then book a place for 10x the price (and it might be similar, anyway). If you want a memorable dune experience with a host who provides a warm welcome and honest value, book here!

Nomadic Desert Camp is set in Al Wāşil. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. Towels and bed linen are featured in the luxury tent. The camp is located not too close from the nearest village, offering an immersive desert experience. The tents are spacious, clean and nicely decorated and so is the dining area. The staff is helpful, kind and efficient and agreeing pick up was really easy. The buffet was generous with a good and tasty selection of food. The camp offers activities like camel riding and dune safari. We enjoyed both very much. The greatest plus of this camp is that, compared to other structures who might have more of a hotel feel, gives the travellers a authentic and close to nature experience. We would go back and we will recommend it to family and friends.

Sultan Private Desert Camp is situated in Bidiyah. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Abdullah and his kids were amazing! Showed me the awesome environment and felt very welcome! Always again

Set in Bidiyah in the Al Sharqiyah region, Sunrise Desert Local Private Camp features a balcony. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. They only have 5 tents isolated from the town, which makes for a more quiet and secluded experience. Dinner was delicious and breakfast much beyond our expectations. Service was impeccable and Faiz was extremely attentive, nice and polite. He truly cares for every single guest and makes sure that you have all that you need. He even stopped to show us a couple of baby camels on our way back to town.

Clean. Quiet place. Fantastic food. Very nice and friendly host. Go there don't hesitate. My best choice in Oman. I planed to spend a night but stayed for longer. I have seen all other camps this one was best. if you look for peace in the desert or plan to go across the desert they will help. - no thanks

Guests will find a stovetop, kitchenware and an oven in the kitchen. The tent also has a barbecue. Set in Al Wāşil in the Al Sharqiyah region, Hamood desert local camp has a balcony and mountain... There are more camps with more facilities and better prices, but if you are looking for an excellent service and have the best experience in the desert, this is your place. Hamood is a really nice person and fully dedicated to his business, he makes the everything possible to make you feel good. The dinner and breakfast have an additional cost but it is a fair price. it was so delicious, in special the dinner, traditional home made omani food cooked by ahmood's wife. Additionally Hamood share the dinner with you and can have a nice local conversation. Hamood also does a small fire at night with tee with all the guest, it is a special moment before going to sleep. The tent is very comfortable, the shower has a good pressure.

Located 50 km from Wadi Bin Khalid, SAFARI-Glamping offers accommodation in Bidiyah-20 kms inside the desert from the village Al Hawaiyah. amazing experience in the beautiful sand dunes of the dessert - we wanted authentic dessert experience and stayed at the camp’s “mini lodge” - a couple of tents with a nice lounge area and facilities. The company couldn’t have been nicer and more accommodating - they set up a third tent for us, from the welcoming reception in Badiyah, the friendly manager and amazing Farhad and Farouk who took care of our group of 7 for two days - everything was great. the luxury of this mini camp is in its remoteness and exclusivity of only a couple of tents, the staff only cater for you and the food they manage to prepare in the desert is delicious! extremely impressive. We did also some camel riding at sun set - the whole group loved it. beautiful paysages. As we visited end of April/beginning of May, it was very hot - unusually hot also apparently for this time, but we wanted exactly this kind of unique dessert experience. I would highly recommend the company and team.

This tent has a seating area, bathrobe and soundproofing. Situated in Shāhiq, Alsarmadi Desert Camp features accommodation with seating area. Wonderful experience. Said and his time were incredibly warm and eager to share the desert / omani culture with their guests. Truly went extra mile to ensure we could try fresh dates, camel milk amongst other food items! Dinner / breakfast were decent, tents were comfortable. Experience felt very close to nature / omani people compared to other camps we passed by. Our desert tour was wonderful, passing by Bedouin people and many camels!
