This was our first time in Scotland & we looked so forward to staying at Glencruitten. It was beyond anything we dreamed of. The place is absolutely stunning & full of so much history. Anna & Paul are so warm & friendly. They made you feel like you knew them forever. They gave us expert ideas of what to see, where to eat & shop. The dining room is exquisite & the breakfast out of this world. We would recommend anyone going to Scotland to make Glencruitten House a must stay. You will be happy you did.

Very friendly hostess. We booked very short before arriving (just half hour before). Due to the fact that we are travelling with kids, we required the sleeping couch. She especially came back to her guesthouse from outside Oban to make the bed for the kids. And she even offered some additional free biscuits for the kids . The room itself was perfect for a small family. Very clean comfortable and modern. I would definitely recommend it.

We arrived late and had dinner in the pub/restaurant. The quality was way in excess of our expectations. I had a Beetroot cured smoked gravadlax with horseradish cream, cress & toasted sourdough followed by Beer battered haddock & hand cut chips with peas & tartare. The starter was one of the best I have ever had and the main course was the perfect meal for a first day in Scotland. Compliments to the chef!! Our room was spacious with every comfort. A huge comfortable bed with a nice view out the front of the building, and nice bathroom with all necessary accessories.

The ambiance was lovely, we felt very welcome and the level of effort put into making our stay comfortable was definitely above and beyond. Highly recommend, we stayed in the superior king room and it was amazing 🤩

Perfect location, a short walk from town and overlooking the beautiful bay. Our room was very well equipped with a small fridge and microwave. The fresh fruit was an added touch.
