Everything Really nice georgian house with an incredibly comfortable bed and beautiful room. The hosts were really accommodating with my check in time and were really nice to chat to. The room was all that I needed, with a cohesive decoration, and a shower with good pressure. There was a small fridge just outside the room where I was able to put some things to chill down. The breakfast was one of the best I had in a hotel, with lots of options, including gluten free and vegan. Fresh berries were also available. I will definitely repeat whenever I am up in Penrith.

Beautifully renovated with local products - the room was clean and very comfortable and the food was excellent. The Inn and the village store exude community pride. I am so glad we detoured off the C2C path just a bit to experience Bampton!

Lovely decor, excellent breakfast and wonderful hosts make this an ideal place to stay. In an ideal location for Penrith town and all the lakes would highly recommend.

Prue was so welcoming and lovely to talk to. The guest house felt like an other home I was visiting. I loved the bath after a long day at work and the breakfast in the morning was great and caters for people who are vegetarian too. I’ll definitely recommend to family and friends and return! We loved the authentic English countryside. We were lucky enough to secure the last room. The location was off thd beaten track but it wax busy... the room was quaint in thisc17th century mill. There was an outside area with picnic table a carport above a creek. The low doors and ceilings were as expected... we had a few pints & dinner which were all very good....the breakfast was plentiful & made to order. there were only 8 rooms, comfy bed & pillow. Serviceable ensuite. This property is a great find, exactly what we hoped for in our holiday travels. This is not a property for anyone with mobility issues.
