The Host. She has been a wonderful lady. Not like the usual host acting like the hotel manager, but if some extra effort is required to make the guest comfortable, she'll definitely do it. This lovely Victorian building is in quiet, private walled gardens and is 3 km from Cork city centre, with buses stopping outside the door.

Extremely clean room and a super comfortable bed. Lots of natural light but also strong enough curtains to darken the room when needed. Bathroom was a good size with a great vanity mirror and powerful hot shower. TV had a wide range of streaming platforms available as well as local channels.
