Ann was an unbelievable host. After having a tough day of travel she greeted me with a beer and peanuts in my room and made sure I was squared away with any questions I had in the town. Additionally, the bed and showers were fantastic. Just what I was looking for after a long day of traveling and a night on the town. Free parking across the street and very centrally located to all the best bars and restaurants in Kinsale. 10/10 will be back!

Kinsale is a beautiful town, just 10 minutes away from this lovely property. The property is situated in a tranquil area with a beautiful view of the river and nearby farms. We were travelling as a family with 2 kids (age 10 and 11 years) and the family suite fulfilled all our expectations. A delicious breakfast was served every morning by very friendly and accomodating staff. I can highly recommend this property when visting Kinsale.

location is perfect and the house is lovely. loved the view and garden. breakfast was great! We loved the bath products and room scents. The carpet is made of natural jute or sisal which keeps the house feeling fresh. No old building damp odors that are sometimes a problem in Ireland.

Beautiful room in a house with access to a common area and attached private bathroom. Despite the owner staying in the same house but an entirely different section, our privacy was maintained. The host welcomed us with chocolates and fruits which was very warm and kind of her. Bed was huge and very comfortable with a fridge that was stocked. The location of the apartment is close to centre of Kinsale at a walking distance of 5 mins which was great!

The location of Friar's Lodge is fantastic. It was very central. It was only a short walk to the town centre. The breakfasts were always substantial and well done. The free on site parking was very welcome.
