The staff was really accommodating, it's a family-run business and I got a chance to meet both mother and daughter. They could both speak really good English, and were very nice to talk to. I think you can easily realize that the hostel has a bit of a unique style: simple, nothing fancy but really cozy. Great initiative to offer one free drink per night at the bar by the front desk. It creates a cool atmosphere also with other guests. Also, they offer ear-buds, ear-plugs, toothbrush. I was also happy to find shaving gel. I would have easily spent more than one night and I would recommend everyone to stay at Roku! Nice location, walking distance to the main attractions, and close to JR train station and tram stop.

The place was surrounded by nature. It was very peaceful and beautiful. The room was very cute and traditional and the futons very comfortable. The host was very nice.

Good privacy due to the beds being configured like a capsule hotel. Nice staff and clean shared spaces + fantastic location for travelling onwards

Fajny hostel w centrum Hiroszimy, można wszędzie dość na pieszo. Na tej samej ulicy duży market spożywczy oraz dużo restauracji. Wifi działało bardzo dobrze, w pokoju było czysto i cicho. Prysznice i toalety są na parterze. Duży plus za mały aneks kuchenny oraz czajnik w części wspólnej :)

I want to thank a lot the staff for accommodating me with a last minute reservation late at night. I did make a reservation but it was for wrong dates.. The staff was very helpful and understanding! Thank you a lot!!

I really liked the atmosphere in the hostel, everyone was friendly and we played cards in the common area. They also have a rooftop. Bed is comfortable and spacious.

Only a block and a half from one of the sight seeing bus loop stops, we were able to use our JR rail pass to get around to all the sights we wanted to see.
