It was away from the buzz and noise and quite near the beach. Our host was exceptionally attentive and professional in all his handling. My husband and I also liked the flooring of the bathroom! The bed has a net all around to keep the flies/mosquitos away, which is great!

Amazing experience. After a long drive we were met with a warm welcome, glasses of cold juice, and a pre-air-conditioned room with a lovely smell. The room had everything to make you feel at home: tasteful decor, comfortable beds, AC, plenty of storage space, a bright portable lamp to get you through brief power cuts was a lovely touch. Everything’s VERY clean. Any questions/issues were resolved momentarily. Special mention goes to breakfast - BEST breakfast you can get on this island. Huge thank you to the hosts for providing such a great experience <3

Ishan was an incredibly welcoming and helpful host! He helped us book a tuktuk to Matara and figure out how to catch a highway bus back to Colombo after our stay. He even went out of his way to help us catch a peacock sighting in the backyard. Ishan's mom's cooking is amazing—we highly recommend the fish curry for lunch/dinner, made with fish caught by Ishan's dad! Thanks Ishan & family for the amazing stay :)
