My favourite thing is there’s a box with supplies left over from previous hikers that you can take for free. Highly recommended.

We were treated as friends, not clients and felt right at home. The room was comfy, the kitchen really useful and well stocked. It's outside the town centre but we'd stay here again whenever we visit.

It is excellently located, very comfortable, clean, neat, tidy and quiet. Simple but with everything someone needs. The room was spacious enough, as well as the bathroom. The heaters worked perfectly, both the bedroom and bathroom had widows to open for fresh air. The staff was very helpful with everything that I needed or asked, always available. There is a phone in the room if you need to contact reception which I found extremely convenient. The breakfast was much better than I expected, with variety every morning. I loved that they offered a daily cleaning service (which I turned down because I want to spare an effort to cleaners) but it's nice to know that you have this option too.

Hostal América is a brand new Mediterranean-style building, located in Puerto Natales and run by its owners. The property also offer free Wi-Fi throughout the property and parking on site. Great location, about 5 minutes walk to the bus terminal. Early breakfast is provided if you leave early in the morning. Luggage storage was allowed as we do the 5 day W trek. We stayed for 2 night before and after we went to torres del Paine. Hot shower, comfortable bed, hot water are exactly what I need after 5 day trekking. Very friendly staff provided us useful information about the town.
