Very good place in front of the see in small village near to town of Kudat. Very helpful stuff. Host as well as all others. Also very tasty food like lunch and dinner provided (for extra money) The owner Jumaidi was always helpful. He is very friendly. He also helped us to arrange transport to Kinabalu park and he also solved our issue with next hop accommodation we had. I can only recommend if you prefer the homestays on the places like this instead of hotel or luxury residence.

El Seladah Stay se encuentra en Kuching, a 6 km del bazar Kuching Waterfront, y ofrece alojamiento con salón compartido, estacionamiento privado gratuito y jardín. Son habitaciones en una casa compartida pero nunca te topas con gente. El anfitrión respondió rápidamente a todas nuestras inquietudes. El ingreso al alojamiento es auto check in muy sencillo. En la casa puedes usar todo: lavadora, microondas, hervidor, cocina, plancha, etc. La habitación están cómodas, silenciosa y el baño preciso. La ubicación, si bien no estás en el centro por Grab es muy fácil de llegar a todas partes y económico. Está ubicado cerca del centro de comida 101 que tiene de todo, lavandería, farmacia, café, restaurante, etc. Recomiendo esté alojamiento. Si volviera a kuching me quedaría acá nuevamente.

The host is just from another world. I arrived late (around 22h30) and even though he likes to wake up at 4h30, we kept talking for about half an hour. Then, he goes: "do you want me to show you around?" >> he went on giving me a guided kuching tour in his car. He even wanted to buy me a drink but no shops were open at midnight. Besides this, he would leave traditional sweets for breakfast every day. Legend!!

El Spring Garden está situado en Kampung Kundasang, a 24 km de Ranau, en el monte Kinabalu, declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. The room and surrounding are superb! Mr Lee is super nice and help us with luggage. He waited for us to arrive to show us the place. The garden is well taken care , my family and I enjoyed the place a lot with the magnificent view of mt kinabalu. The room come with heated floor- this is a very thoughtful design of the room/chalet.

El Nanga Damai Homestay ofrece jardín y terraza y se encuentra en Damai. Cuenta con bar y salón común. El alojamiento ofrece pileta exterior y consigna de equipaje. Very welcoming host who is happy to help you and take you to and pick you up from different locations (for example Damai beach). The property has a great view over some lush jungle and if you are lucky you can even spot the proboscis monkey from the garden! The rooms are cute, AC works fine and the beds are comfortable and clean. Beautiful sunset vibes with the sea in the distance as the homestay faces west. Our best stay in Borneo!

The manager Connie is very friendly & helpful, fast & easy communication. The location is very quiet and peaceful on the top of the hill surrounded by forest, there is a little supermarket in walking distance. For anything else you would need your own vehicle or a short cheap Grab ride into town.
