Mary was also very considerate, she even gave me recommendation of place to visit on my trip. I got everything I needed during my stay.

Located opposite the Giltraps Pub, the accommodation is just 2 km from Kinnitty Castle. We were greeted and settled in for the night, the pub was a lot of fun and we had a really lovely stay. The room was gorgeous, newly remodeled, and everything felt very fresh and clean.

The room was spectacular! Big and comfy, exactly as in the pictures and description. We got a warm welcome, and had a tasty breakfast. For those who tour around Birr - it is an excellent choice! We will sure get back again.

The Stables Townhouse B&B, is located on the famous Georgian streetscape of Oxmantown Mall, in the heart of Birr and directly opposite Birr Theatre & Arts Centre.

Free Wi-Fi is provided in each guest room at The Stables, as well as a queen-size bed, en suite bathroom with luxury toiletries and an LED flat-screen TV. A hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities are also provided. The staff were very polite and the room spacious and elegant. The position was first rate with the castle at one end of the street, a church at the other and lovely Georgian houses in between. The breakfast was excellent with a wide range of choices. There was also plentiful safe free parking on the street outside. A walk in the castle grounds is recommended.
