There's only one shower though and it's shared, but that wasn't a problem at all. The shared kitchen/living room is really cozy as well and I've only met great people while staying here. You can also wash laundry and go up on the roof to watch the stars. I love it so much I want to come back!

Friendly, helpful and attentive owner. Shimpei-san and his friend are wonderful. Upon arrival, they offer to help carry my bag up the stairs. And when they see me not wearing enough layers for the cold weather, they very kindly lend me a jacket/windbreaker for the duration of my stays which I am very grateful for :) shimpei-san speaks excellent English and I enjoy being able to talk to him without having to use translator. 2. Quiet and peaceful. Well maintained and kept very clean. 3. Value for money. Very reasonable price for private room. Although the toilet and shower is shared, I never have to wait to use it during my stay. Towel is provided without charge, and you can get a fresh one if you want to as well. Power point in the room is located near the bed. The sliding door to the room closed with very minimum noise. 4. First place I stayed where sanitary pad is provided in women's toilet. A very thoughtful and unexpected amenity.
