She also introduced the sightseeing spot to us and recommended us the restaurant when we arrived at the apartment. The room and bathroom are clean and comfortable. The location of the apartment is very strategic. You can reach the town with walking distance.

We loved our friendly hosts and their family, nothing was too much trouble, they were so kind and helpful, a delicious breakfast each morning and with ideas for exploring and the loan of their electric bikes, wonderful biking around the countryside. Biei is a perfect small town, easy to get around, great restaurants. We drove to Asahidake and despite a cloudy light rain day we loved a day hike to Susodaira Valley and on towards Nakodake Onsen, afterwards a divine soak at Asahidake Onsen. Arigato
