The guesthouse and the neighborhood are amazing. The owner is one of the nicest and warmest people I have met. The bed was even nicer than that of a much more expensive ryokan. The train ride to the guesthouse was scenic, the location of the accommodation is perfect, the eateries nearby are all good. The place itself was spotless with a really nice shower room. Everything was perfect. I can't recommend it enough.

The owner of the lodging went above and beyond in making sure that I was comfortable and provided for. Today I left early for my pilgrim walk and did not have breakfast. The lady sent me a message and brought me the food and additional lunch 30 km away. She just did it out of the kindness of her heart. She did not need to do that, but she did. It was also raining yesterday and I did not want to leave the room. she brought me lunch on her own initiative. She is smiley and helpful and kind and the place is super clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend this accommodation for anybody.

Maki was so friendly, welcoming and helpful! She recommended local restaurants for dinner, and invited me to join the tacoyaki party they were having that evening. The 8 bed dorm was lovely- gorgeous wood beds and cool decor. The beds were comfy and private. I was lucky since there were only 4 of us in the room, but I think it would be spacious enough even if it were full. Definitely the nicest guesthouse I’ve stayed at in Japan.

Questa struttura a 1 stella offre un deposito bagagli. the retreat in the mountain coupled with the amazing hospitality by the family made us felt like visiting old friends. the Japanese paper making workshop is highly recommended. you buy your own food in town (owner will tell u where to get the best beef and the location of the supermarket), then you can do bbq or hot pot or whatever you fancy. very authentic experience in the mountains. highly recommended

La Guesthouse boro-ya si trova a Toyonaga. A vostra disposizione anche un barbecue e un giardino. Regala inoltre una vista sulle montagne. Tutte le camere sono dotate di terrazza. Very unique mountain top location in traditional Japanese home, but made very comfortable with everything needed for a cozy and relaxing stay. Would highly recommend if looking for an experience off the beaten path. We especially enjoyed warming up in the fire pit, while BBQing a delicious meal and enjoying the relaxing and awesome views from the mountains.

Located in the mountains surrounded by nature, Guesthouse En is located in Ochi at an elevation od 400 metres. The property features a garden and offers luggage storage space. Most beautiful and awesome location. View was fantastic. Lovely hosts who made the guesthouse so warm and cosy. Really special place to experience Kochi hospitality!
