The owner lady got up early in the morning and she prepared a Japanese-style breakfast with warm care. I was able to use the sauna even after the breakfast, so I had a pleasant meal and enjoyed the sauna. I left after enjoying a very good rest in hospitality that I can't feel anywhere else in Japan. The bedding in the room was comparable to a 5-star hotel. All the usable spaces were really clean and organized, so just looking at them made me feel good. The usable space is very large compared to typical accommodations in Japan.

35 km from Huis Ten Bosch, ゲストハウスのスタジオ５１ is a recently renovated property set in Sasebo and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. 15 km from St. The location is really good, 2min from railway station. The host is really friendly and I had nice breakfast. There’s a bar you may order at night but it’s a pity I didn’t have sufficient time here, wish you all the best!

Set in Tsushima in the Nagasaki region, Guest House「さごんヴィレッジ」 offers accommodation with free private parking. One day, soon I hope, I'll be able to be fluent enough with my Japanese to review places like this one. Nevertheless, still not the case. :'( This place could be described with one world: fabulous. Really, totally, incredibly fabulous. When the bus left me in the middle of nowhere, when I crossed a town slowly, without population to carry out its history, when I found out that the school before the guesthouse was in fact the guesthouse (yeah, should have checked /o), I was as excited as afraid. That was for naught though. Understanding the village his population and history, helps a lot understanding the place. Without children to study in it, the school was closed around 10 years ago, and then repaired, treated with a lot of love and respect until the result you will find there: a cosy, comfortable, clean and warm place run by a bunch of adorable people, always there for advices, recommendations and useful tips. Sleeping alone (not many visitors there !) in this huge empty school may seem a little gloomy and scary (some horror movie vibes ?), you will soon forget about it while enjoying the beautiful scenery surrounding the school, while meeting the villagers and the workers at the tea farm nearby (which were the reason why I went there the first place) and while enjoying the delicious food provided by the hosts (on certain days). These few days were the last of a fantastic month of holidays I spent in Kyushu. Staying there was one of the best ideas I had for sure! お世話になりました!

Located in Saikai and only 38 km from Peace Park, Yukinoura Guest House Moritaya provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Very good stay, the people (and place) were so nice. We had an amazing night with a music show and had the chance to exchange with local people, they even took pictures and print them for us, what great memories! Thanks again for the precious time together

Situated within 47 km of Nagasaki Museum of History and 48 km of Nagasaki Station, TSUDOI guest house features rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Unzen. The location is 2 seconds away from the main bus stop, to the hiking spots and the main unzen viewpoints of hot spring hells. The hostel itself is lovely and warm, the accomodation is comfortable. At the arrival Takuji one of the main staff members welcomed us very warmly. He showed us what we can do on Iki. In addition, he was very courteous and helpful so that he helped us among other things to reserve a bike. Also at the departure he ordered a cab for us on request. In general, the IkI Guesthouse offers everything you need. The 3rd best beaches are also just around the corner. On Iki you should either rent a bike or a car, because there are not supermarkets everywhere.

Guesthouse Wasabi is located in Iki and offers a garden and a shared lounge. The property features sea and mountain views. Super kindly and friendly owner, old house reformed with modern functions and good design. Location near Asahibe port, good view could look down the port.

The building is lovely and the staff were SUPER friendly and kind. They accommodated my request for a vegetarian breakfast and it was delicious. Such a fun stay!
