I loved everything about this stay, so much so that I extended my stay and then came back for two more days after exploring another area for a day. Marília is a wonderful host, and she delivers a beautiful breakfast basket every morning, filled with coffee, fresh-squeezed orange juice, and home baked goodies. The space was perfect for me, with a comfortable, firm bed, fabulous shower, super fast WiFi, a day bed that doubles as a couch, and a big table for writing/working. I didn't use the kitchen much, because there were excellent vegetarian options in Caminha (Cantina do Bem and Jeni's Diner). I will definitely be back! Thank you Marília! There a few things you can't tell from the photos: - The ceiling on the ground floor is relatively low. Tall people will have to watch the clearance. - Access to the spacious upstairs bedroom is by ladder rather than by stairs. I found it easy to navigate, but it could be difficult if you have mobility challenges. - The apartment is accessed by two sets of uneven stone steps. Again, it could be challenging if you're not fully mobile.

Susana and Tomás were incredibly warm, welcoming and friendly, they made our stay as comfortable as it could possibly be. The property itself is brand new and gorgeous, and the surrounding area of Gerês and beyond was just amazing to visit and explore. Very highly recommended.
