When we come back to Ooty, which God willing, is a given, we will definitely stay at Orchard Valley Homestay, it is delightful.

Everything was excellent about our stay with Mellow Mount. Neat, spacious, sparkling clean with all required amenities for the stay. We had booked for 4 adults and 2 kids but the property has accommodation space for 8 adults easily. Helpful caretaker who is always available for any help or enquiry. A number of good eateries and shopping areas are also easily available at a 5 min distance. Located at the heart of the city. The terrace is good with a view and fireplace. Loved the time spent with family at the fireplace. Private parking was available for an SUV as well. This 3-BHK homestay is really recommended for a leisure/offical stay.

The owner was fantastic. He was really attentive and helpful. When we got there he offered us a number of room upgrades and allowed us to look at all the rooms before making a decision. These upgrades were all very reasonably priced. Throughout our stay he was constantly at hand if we needed anything and was extremely helpful. The guesthouse itself was pleasant with comfy beds and a fantastic view across Ooty.

A Hotel run by a Colonel! Lots of army memorabilia - veey homely with lovely big rooms. The breakfasts and restaurant were great - lots of food , very tasty and reasonable prices. The hotel is set back from the road with a small veranda which you can chill out on. There also patking for a few cars/mbikes. The hotel is in a great location - quiet but very close to the town centre - 5 mins walk. We went for a night and stayed for three and didnt really want to leave!

The house is located within the town of Ooty. We got to the town Center within 5 minutes in the car. The location overlooks the town valley which is beautiful. The most pleasant factor of the stay were the cook couples James anna and Jasmine akka along with the jovial Lakshmi akka. We usually do not eat at the place we stay because the food wouldn’t be great but here the food was great. We ate home cooked food for breakfast and dinner and the price was affordable considering it was a tourist destination. Great place with great people.
