EkoTurizem Hudičevec is set on the south slopes of Mount Nanos, within 1 km from Razdrto Motorway Exit and 2 km from the village centre. We loved EkoTurizem Hudičevec! It is located close to a highway, which was helpful for quick commutes to the surrounding sites, yet our room was still quiet and we slept extremely well with the specialty blinds that blocked out all light. That was extra nice while traveling with kids that are light sensitive for sleep. It was, unexpectedly, our fanciest stay. Before we left for Slovenia, we upgraded to the two bedroom with a big tub and balcony. No regrets at all, it was perfect for our family. I've stayed in very expensive, flashy hotels that weren't as nice. The building we stayed in is pretty new, with all the comforts of modern technology while surrounded by forests and animals. There's an elevator available, which helps if you've got a lot of baggage, kids, or mobility concerns. It even had a kids play room downstairs that my 1 and 4 year old enjoyed. The surroundings were bucolic and surreal, I could not stop taking pictures and walking around the property. Miniature horses, donkeys, goats, and other animals surrounded the property. The kids were very content with the vast playground. The place is family-run and you can tell our hosts knew their line of work! They have a great reputation for hospitality in the area, as we came to find out. The food was delicious, with some unique food offerings if you're willing to try new things but there was no pressure. The breakfast and service were impeccable. Parking was easy and the travel baby cot/pack n' play we requested was ready when we arrived. There are special activities available around the farm and we wish we would have scheduled a horse riding session. Thank you to our hosts for their wonderful hospitality, we really enjoyed our stay!

Sobe pri Roži features garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Postojna, 8.7 km from Predjama Castle. The room was large, super clean and comfortable. We also had some food supplies (coffee, cookies). The location is very close to the caves and was quiet.

Featuring mountain views, Rooms Šajina offers accommodation with balcony, around 31 km from The Škocjan Caves. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. Great location near the Croatia border with a good restaurant 50m away

Featuring a garden, bar and views of garden, GOSTILNA S PRENOČIŠČI PAV is situated in Rakek, 24 km from Predjama Castle. There is an in-house restaurant and free private parking. Very friendly owner. The room was very new and nice! Would definitely come back.

City center blue sky house features garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Postojna, 11 km from Predjama Castle. Really enjoyed staying here. It was a lovely quiet spot very convenient to the bus & a short walk or local bus ride to the Caves. The hostess spoilt us with chocolates & biscuits & also responded quickly to messages on booking.com. It was great that we could easily drop off our luggage before check-in. We had use of a fridge which was great. We felt very welcomed here & very comfortable. Very much recommend this place. Very nice not rushing away after the castle & cave trips.

I suggest to stay with them and have a nice talk! Location is perfect for travellers, both those staying in the area as those just passing by. Anyway, I suggest staying around and visiting Sviščaki, Snežnik...

Set 500 metres from Main Square and 1.3 km from Postojna Cave, Guesthouse Mira G. offers rooms fitted with free WiFi and air conditioning. Such warm and friendly people! Here we had the best breakfast in the last 1,5 weeks of travelling!

Rooms Kapelj have been working in this business for 35 years, located in a quiet area of Prestranek, just 6 km from the well-known Postojna Cave, Rooms Kapelj is surrounded by a green garden and... This accommodation was everything that we hoped it to be and it exceeded our expectations. Even if simple, it had everything that we wanted for a 7-night stay. All the details are well thought and designed, it is extremely clean and comfortable and the hosts are very friendly, polite and discreet persons. Slovenia stole our heart through its landscapes but it is firstly due to the fact that every evening when we came back to Rooms Kapelj we were thinking we were coming back home. We totally recommend it to families and to anyone really. Did I mention that the towels were changed daily and that our sheets were also changed once during our stay? There is also a coffee/tea corner, a fridge in the room, sockets by the bed, dim-light lamps, the shower and the hot water functioned perfectly, the sheets, the pillows and the mattress were perfect as well. One of the best stays ever (and we traveled quite a lot).
