This was the cleanest and best organized space we’ve stayed during our entire vacation. The kitchen was well stocked, and included a selection of teas and coffee. There was a delicious local honey for guests to purchase that we immediately used with our breakfast. The beds were comfortable with great fluffy pillows. The bathrooms were spotless and well thought out. And our host was absolutely lovely and we enjoyed chatting with her! She was so helpful when we arrived, and waved us off the next morning. Make sure you check out her beautiful flower garden!

Really enjoyed staying here. It was a lovely quiet spot very convenient to the bus & a short walk or local bus ride to the Caves. The hostess spoilt us with chocolates & biscuits & also responded quickly to messages on booking.com. It was great that we could easily drop off our luggage before check-in. We had use of a fridge which was great. We felt very welcomed here & very comfortable. Very much recommend this place. Very nice not rushing away after the castle & cave trips.

Rooms Kapelj have been working in this business for 35 years, located in a quiet area of Prestranek, just 6 km from the well-known Postojna Cave, Rooms Kapelj is surrounded by a green garden and... This accommodation was everything that we hoped it to be and it exceeded our expectations. Even if simple, it had everything that we wanted for a 7-night stay. All the details are well thought and designed, it is extremely clean and comfortable and the hosts are very friendly, polite and discreet persons. Slovenia stole our heart through its landscapes but it is firstly due to the fact that every evening when we came back to Rooms Kapelj we were thinking we were coming back home. We totally recommend it to families and to anyone really. Did I mention that the towels were changed daily and that our sheets were also changed once during our stay? There is also a coffee/tea corner, a fridge in the room, sockets by the bed, dim-light lamps, the shower and the hot water functioned perfectly, the sheets, the pillows and the mattress were perfect as well. One of the best stays ever (and we traveled quite a lot).
