And this because of this sweet home we could make in just a few days. The hostel makes you feel welcome, calm, chill and really relaxed. This is to thank to the great service of the owners, Syd and Walli;) The atmosphere with the calm animals and people made everyone there felt like in a travelling oasis sharing whatever you want to talk about. Very special. I was always looking forward getting back to the hostel after doing a hike or leaving for the supermarket.

Situated in Abraão and with Lopes Mendes Beach reachable within 1.7 km, Hostel MPB Ilha Grande features a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a shared lounge. I really liked the atmosphere in the common area of the hostel. Gabi is a good host who tries to bring people together. She is also a great cook and we had nice self cooked dinners here. The kitchen is pretty well equipped. The owner is also a lovely woman who stopps by and liked to chat. If you know spanish or a little portugues then you can talk to the hosts. They don't really know english here.

Located in Abraão, 400 metres from Sain't Sebastian Church, Hostel Refúgio features a garden and a shared lounge. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk and a shared kitchen for guests. Everything was good. Room was clean and has toilet. Free breakfast in the morning. Staffs are friendly and nice. Stayed here for 3days.

Hostel Papagaio is set in Ilha Grande, 200 metres from Sain't Sebastian Church. Free WiFi is available in public areas. All rooms feature a private bathroom with shower. One of the best hostel I stayed in! Giselle and Eloïse are super welcoming and the other guests were all very friendly. The hostel being quite small, it's easy to get to know all the guests. The location is perfect, in the center of Abrãao, you can walk everywhere easily.

Located in Praia de Araçatiba, 1.2 km from Araçatibinha Beach, Casa Caiçara features views of the mountain. Beautiful clean place and amazing host :)

Set in Abraão, Mahalo Hostel features a garden, terrace, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. The property is situated 2.4 km from Abraaozinho Beach. Simple accommodations but had everything you need: comfy bed, warm shower, functional lockers (unlike some other hostels in Brazil) breakfast included, etc. The guy at the reception (Gonza) was extremely helpful and patient with me when I had questions about this and that, as I just landed in Brazil a day before arriving this hostel and needed some orientation about few things as well as local tours. The location is right next to the centre (close to everything) yet in a quiet place which was nice.
