Casa Salento erbjuder boende i Salento, 47 km från Ukumari Zoo och 35 km från Pereira's Botanical Garden. The location was close to everything yet not directly in the main square area so there was less noise! The staff were incredibly helpful, giving us a full debrief on the area, answering all of our questions and providing us with free waterproof clothing for hiking. The hotel itself is lovely and the room we had was our favourite so far in Colombia. We had the whole top floor to ourselves and the room was impeccably clean and traditionally decorated with everything we needed. There was also free water, coffee and tea all day which is a lovely touch.

David was lovely and had lots of advice about what to do in Filandia. The whole place was very clean, nice large kitchen, comfy bed. Great location. Plug sockets for each bed.

Reserva Guadalajara - Cocora Valley ligger i Salento, 49 km från Ukumari Zoo, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering, en terrass och en restaurang. It was an absolutely wonderful stay. The reserva is beautiful, surrounded by nature and close to the magical Valle de Cocorá. The staff was so friendly and I really felt taken care of. A big breakfast that was very delicious. They really had tought about a lot of details that really make you feel good, feels like an absolute luxury in a real countryside place. I also ate dinner for three nights, the fish in garlic sauce was especially delicious and one of the best plates I ate in Colombia. Sandra and Jeny are great cooks and very sweet people. Don Diego is really a great host and makes you feel very welcome. It was easy to move around with the taxis, that the people at reserva will kindly order for you when needed. They even helped me get a service for washing my clothes after getting all muddy in the nature! It was also a safe area, felt comfortable moving around as a woman travelling alone. I really couldn't recommend enough staying here, it was absolute peace during 5 days and I hope to go back one day.

Hacienda Venecia Hostel ligger i Manizales, 12 km från Manizales Cable Car Station, och har en tur- och utflyktsdisk, rökfria rum, en trädgård, gratis WiFi och en terrass. An amazing place, peaceful, confortable. Staff very kind and helpful. Possibility to cook pizza in the hostel kitchen. The kit pizza and breakfast prepared by Marta is very good! Pat was very kind and helped us with everything we needed. We also got cake for my birthday. We would reccomend everyone to stay here. It is very easy to catch the bus to Salento in front of the hostel, just wave to the driver and they will stop for you. The breakfast in the morning is very tasty! If you want to chill here; there are very nice hammocks available. 10/10 points for this place and the service!
