Situated within 47 km of Ukumari Zoo and 35 km of Pereira's Botanical Garden, Casa Salento offers rooms in Salento. The location was close to everything yet not directly in the main square area so there was less noise! The staff were incredibly helpful, giving us a full debrief on the area, answering all of our questions and providing us with free waterproof clothing for hiking. The hotel itself is lovely and the room we had was our favourite so far in Colombia. We had the whole top floor to ourselves and the room was impeccably clean and traditionally decorated with everything we needed. There was also free water, coffee and tea all day which is a lovely touch.

Amazing staff and don’t get me started on the food😋

Located in Filandia, Three House Hostel features a garden, shared lounge, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property. David was lovely and had lots of advice about what to do in Filandia. The whole place was very clean, nice large kitchen, comfy bed. Great location. Plug sockets for each bed.

Comfortable room, hot shower Very calm surroundings, away from the center and 5min drive from bus terminal (that's what we wanted)

Set in Salento, 49 km from Ukumari Zoo, Reserva Guadalajara - Cocora Valley offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. This 5-star hostel offers a bar. It was an absolutely wonderful stay. The reserva is beautiful, surrounded by nature and close to the magical Valle de Cocorá. The staff was so friendly and I really felt taken care of. A big breakfast that was very delicious. They really had tought about a lot of details that really make you feel good, feels like an absolute luxury in a real countryside place. I also ate dinner for three nights, the fish in garlic sauce was especially delicious and one of the best plates I ate in Colombia. Sandra and Jeny are great cooks and very sweet people. Don Diego is really a great host and makes you feel very welcome. It was easy to move around with the taxis, that the people at reserva will kindly order for you when needed. They even helped me get a service for washing my clothes after getting all muddy in the nature! It was also a safe area, felt comfortable moving around as a woman travelling alone. I really couldn't recommend enough staying here, it was absolute peace during 5 days and I hope to go back one day.

Located in Salento, 44 km from Ukumari Zoo, Casa Mochila provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. Our stay at Casa Mochila was amazing. Pat was very kind and helped us with everything we needed. We also got cake for my birthday. We would reccomend everyone to stay here. It is very easy to catch the bus to Salento in front of the hostel, just wave to the driver and they will stop for you. The breakfast in the morning is very tasty! If you want to chill here; there are very nice hammocks available. 10/10 points for this place and the service!

Set in Salento, 26 km from Santa Rosa de Cabal, Hostal Familiar Jerico features free WiFi access. Certain units include a seating area to relax in after a busy day. The Hostal is ran by a very warm and friendly family. Martha went above and beyond in her hospitality. By giving us great tips and helping us plan our days. And when I left my jacket in a pub in on our last night in Salento she helped out in retrieving it and sending it to my next destination. Ps. they have very cute cat.

Offering a restaurant, bar and free WiFi, Casa La Eliana is located in Salento. Rooms come with a private or shared bathroom. Colombian National Coffee Park is 46 km away. Great location, a bit outside of the city center but not too far only about a 10 minute walk.The property has a nice open space to hangout and do some work. Nice view of surrounding mountains from the open lounge. Well equipped kitchen for anybody who likes to cook :D Very peaceful early morning and most of the day as well. Highly recommend for couples. The wifi worked great for the 10 days we stayed here. If you have any problems though, there are plenty of cafes in the center nearby. Cocora valley is also about 20 minute drive from here.
