The owners are super helpful when it comes to planning your trip in and beyond Cali. The hostel itself is very well equipped with a good kitchen, clean bathrooms and showers and a lot of shared space to hang out. They sell really good coffee for every gusto in the coffee shop and drinks in there bar on the roof top terrace. It is located in a calm area. Our clean, private room came with plenty of space and even a balcony with an amazing view on Cali. The awesome reviews are well deserved.

Had a great time staying at Hostal Liliana. I was a solo female traveller and I felt welcomed by Liliana and all of the staff and the extremely friendly and inviting people of Juanchaco. I felt incredibly safe for the few days I was there. Juanchaco is not as well developed for tourism as other parts of Colombia but has so much incredible natural beauty which makes this a wonderful place to visit. Suprisingly great WiFi in common areas and loved the restaurant attached to the hostel! Liliana will take good care of you and give you lots of recommendations for good tours in the area. I would love to visit again. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Boasting a shared lounge and a terrace, Hostal Encuentro is set in Cali, 1.4 km from Jorge Isaacs Theater and 1.6 km from Saint's Peter Cathedral. everything was great, the facilities, the rooms and beds, I felt very comfortable. The biggest plus is about the warm welcoming of the hosts, they were lovely, and kind. They allowed us inviting friends and letting us celebrate our Jewish holiday with a meal in the apartment. I recommend if anyone is looking for a homey hostel, that’s the place.
