Less than 5 minutes’ walk from the centre of Penrith, Wayfarers Independent Hostel provides comfortable accommodation to Lake District visitors. Super nice! Best hostel so far. The facilities are great, the hosts are humble and super friendly. Facilities have most things you need, medium sozed rooms, lockers, and the beds are very comfy. Also great location! The Onefam Waterloo has a lively atmosphere as a social party hostel designed for young backpackers and solo travellers. The staff was amazing and really nice, other travellers were also really nice. Everything is really clean and the hostel is really well-located.

Staff friendly and helpful, the kitchen was well equipped. Good Wi-Fi and a lovely breakfast if you pay for it which I highly recommend if you are travelling light as I was as there is no local shop to walk too.
