Kagelow Mt.Fuji Hostel Kawaguchiko has been newly renovated in September 2015. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There are shared bathrooms on the ground floor, and Mt. Had a wonderful stay at kagelow. The staff are all lovely and welcoming. Please enjoy the cafe and restaurant while you're there, it has a soothing atmosphere and a great menu offering. Would stay here again — thank you!

He had local knowledge and he freely picked me up and dropped me off at the station. He also reserved a restaurant for us and gave us sightseeing recommendations. The facilities were good and the lounge was amazing. If I ever come back, which is unlikely, I will come back to this hostel.

The location, the view and the whole experience from the hotel. You can see Mt Fuji just by looking outside your window, they also have a rooftop viewing deck where we can view Mt Fuji clearly which really felt special especially during the sunrise. Sleeping on tatami beds really completes the experience! 30 mins walk to Lake Kawaguchiko but you can rent bicycles from the hotel.

Opened in May 2016, Hostel Mt. Fuji - FUKUYA is set in Fujiyoshida, 1.4 km from Fujikyu Highland. Gekkoji Station is 450 metres away and Fujisan Station is 1 km away. The place is clean and comfortable. The location is convenient, as it's close to the pagoda and 5 minutes from a Family Mart. The owner is very attentive and helpful. She speaks very good English and makes you feel very welcome.

Located a 5-minute stroll from Shimoyoshida Station, Hostel & Salon Saruya offers a renovated 80-year old Japanese-style accommodation with free WiFi. The whole hostel was so beautiful and with lots of attention to detail/design. We booked a simple private room with the shared bathroom and everything was very clean. We enjoyed the location close to Mt. Fuji and the little town was very cute. Also just out front is a very popular photo point.

A mere 10-minute drive from the Fujikyu Highland amusement park, Fujiyoshida Youth Hostel offers private Japanese-style rooms, free Wi-Fi at the lobby. Coin-operated laundry facilities are on-site. Everything was so clean and the hostess was so nice. She gave use recommendations where to go. We felt very welcome. We were lucky to get the room with mt. Fuji view. It was very beautiful.

Perfect beds and very nice spacious common space. Board games and bar were a great addition to the comfort of my stay! The staff was helpful and kind. The hostel is 5 minutes from the Kawaguchiko lakeshore with majestic views of Mount Fuji. Can't be better!

Situated in Fujikawaguchiko, 2.2 km from Fuji-Q Highland, TOCORO. Mt.Fuji Station HOSTEL Kawaguchiko features accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar. It's so close to the station and the view of Mt Fuji was amazing. The rooms are small but very comfy and clean. It's near a 711 and a Lawson and has lots of Bike rentals nearby. They let you deposit your luggage for the day so you can sightsee without having to pay for coin lockers. Overall such good value.
