From the start, he picked me up from the station, ensuring a smooth check-in. His warm hospitality and genuine care for every guest made this stay truly remarkable. The location is spectacular, with Mt. Fuji as the breathtaking backdrop. Waking up to this view every morning from the common area is a dream. The facilities are clean and comfortable, and Michi's willingness to offer advice and help with any needs truly stands out. I extended my stay because I couldn't bear to leave. If you're looking for an unforgettable Mt. Fuji experience with a wonderful host, look no further than Michi's hostel. It's a hidden gem that I wholeheartedly recommend. You can see Mt Fuji just by looking outside your window, they also have a rooftop viewing deck where we can view Mt Fuji clearly which really felt special especially during the sunrise. Sleeping on tatami beds really completes the experience! 30 mins walk to Lake Kawaguchiko but you can rent bicycles from the hotel.

The whole hostel was so beautiful and with lots of attention to detail/design. We booked a simple private room with the shared bathroom and everything was very clean. We enjoyed the location close to Mt. Fuji and the little town was very cute. Also just out front is a very popular photo point.

It's so close to the station and the view of Mt Fuji was amazing. The rooms are small but very comfy and clean. It's near a 711 and a Lawson and has lots of Bike rentals nearby. They let you deposit your luggage for the day so you can sightsee without having to pay for coin lockers. Overall such good value.
