He had local knowledge and he freely picked me up and dropped me off at the station. He also reserved a restaurant for us and gave us sightseeing recommendations. The facilities were good and the lounge was amazing. If I ever come back, which is unlikely, I will come back to this hostel.

You can see Mt Fuji just by looking outside your window, they also have a rooftop viewing deck where we can view Mt Fuji clearly which really felt special especially during the sunrise. Sleeping on tatami beds really completes the experience! 30 mins walk to Lake Kawaguchiko but you can rent bicycles from the hotel.

She speaks very good English and makes you feel very welcome.

Amazing place to stay! It was very quiet, clean, it had everything we needed, the interior minimalistic and beautiful, great location. Wishing all the best and I hope to come back here someday.

Dot Hostel&Bar 富士山 is located in Fujikawaguchiko. With a shared lounge, the property also has a bar. American breakfast is available. Super cozy, clean and comfortable hostel! Perfect beds and very nice spacious common space. Board games and bar were a great addition to the comfort of my stay! The staff was helpful and kind. The hostel is 5 minutes from the Kawaguchiko lakeshore with majestic views of Mount Fuji. Can't be better!

It's so close to the station and the view of Mt Fuji was amazing. The rooms are small but very comfy and clean. It's near a 711 and a Lawson and has lots of Bike rentals nearby. They let you deposit your luggage for the day so you can sightsee without having to pay for coin lockers. Overall such good value.
