The host (Richard) went above and beyond! Beautiful place, easy to meet other people in the communal area, close to some great beaches in the north. Outside of town but a quick motorbike ride is just 50 pesos. Hopefully I can make it back here someday :)

The room and comfort room is very clean and it is really more than worth the price of the room. The amenities are all the best for its price! plus points for the free drinking water and coffee! The owners were very accommodating and responsive to the messages.

Featuring a garden, ALTHEA BIRDS NEST INN is located in Moalboal in the Visayas region, 24 km from Kawasan Falls and 19 km from Santo Nino Church. There was a 24-hour service at the reception area and they were so accommodating, they even let us leave our things at the place first when we arrive at 5am to proceed with our tour.

MAAYONG HOSTEL is a quiet and chill hostel in Panagsama road in barangay Basdiot, ideally located 250 meters from Panagsama Beach & the famous sardine run and 2 minutes walk from the bars, restaurants... I love it! Room is excellent, good size and spacious between beds. Bathroom is inside the room and has 2 toilets, 2 showers, 2 sinks all separate. Common are is very nice as well, good place for working if needed. I also woke up very early and could do some yoga there. All good, specially the comfort of the bedroom, there was not 6 ppl when I stayed there. To finish, I have extended my stay.

D & N LODGE in Daanbantayan provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a shared lounge. Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. Good value for money, but what was exceptional is the owners they were amazing, who helped us when my daughter wasn't feeling well, took to a clinic, and helped with all we needed. Also, in the morning, they took us to the port because we had big luggage even though the port is walking distance. Great, great people. If you are in trouble, these are the people you want to help you

The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. The owner is such a lovely person! I really enjoyed my stay here, totally recomend.

The staff were extremely helpful from the moment we arrived until we left. The hostel is so clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious and I loved the rooftop area. We booked all of our experiences in Moalboal through the hostel which was really reasonable in price. It was a short walk to the main area of bars and restaurants and the shuttle service was extremely handy! We used it to get to the bus station. Thanks for a fantastic stay! I would recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Cebu.

Chief Mau Moalboal Cebu has a garden, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Moalboal. + the Kawasan Falls canyoneering organised by the hotel is just amazing, you can also book your tour here if you are guest of other venues. The guys are lovely and very professional! + The receptionists are awesome and very helpful with everything you need. Breakfast is good and served in the chill area which is a great way to start the day. + Rooms are spacious and clean, big bathroom, silent aircon + there are electric plugs in the chill area in case you want to work from there. Also there are board games and a pool table that you can use for free Everything was just perfect!
