Aforetime House @ Samui has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Taling Ngam Beach. This hostel is more of a home than a casual place to stay. The family behind the business are very wonderful people, and go above and beyond to make your stay is as comfortable as possible. This is the best hostel I've been able to stay at.

I liked everything about this hostel, owners were very nice and helped with everything. Hostel looks so mich nicer than in the picture,it's very clean and in good place( in the centar of Lamai), rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable Beach is very close. Hope to come here again:)

Beautiful and peaceful place, far enough from the crowds but not so far from the beach by motorbike. You can rent a motorbike directly at your accommodation, ask in Anjar. Anjar, the owner, is the kind of person you are really happy to meet on your trip. Perfect from the start to the end of your stay. He comes directly to the pier and takes you through your accommodation and does the same when you leave, free of charge. He is always available to give you advice and help, always smiling. Situated in Chaweng and with Chaweng Beach reachable within less than 1 km, DK1Hostel features concierge services, rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi throughout the property and a terrace. I had a wonderful stay in this hostel well located between Chaweng beach and the main walking street of the entire island. But mostly what makes the difference here is the genuinely and the love of the owner, an amazing woman who puts effort and care for the guests that will let you feel like home. I will keep beautiful memories about her and her welcoming hostel. Thank you!

Nice location on the beach, a peaceful place to get away from the more touristy parts of the island. The wifi was good for working, aircon good, beds comfortable, and the staff were helpful and friendly, especially Shine, who always went out of his way to see if I needed anything.
