This venture / adventure has taken a long time to fulfill On the back of an old birthday card we wrote down the things that we wanted out of our life; to spend our time together, to live somewhere warm and to put our work ethic into something we wanted to do for ourselves….8 years later in the summer of 2018, it happened. La Paz del Caribe represents a dream fulfilled. Leaving our family, including 4 children and 6 grandchildren has been hard but we are making good friends in this unique place and of course are meeting new ‘family” and friends from all over the world who come to stay with us.

There are many restaurants and bars located along the strip from Manzanillo to Puerto Viejo for you to enjoy and explore. Our beach is a short 4-minute walk and the street is lit a night. You can walk to the town of Puerto Viejo along the beach if you prefer Puerto Viejo and the surrounding towns have a variety of music and entertainment venues.
