    「Did not come with breakfast. Or with basic food stocked, including coffee or bread, etc. Because of the lack of too many options nearby we had plan logistics based on mealtimes especially with a three year old in view.」

    「Gorgeous property. Really comfortable. Walking into the living quarters upstairs is genuinely like coming home. Location is great too, short drive to Hay On Wye, and Hereford is only 30 mins away too. All in all a fantastic place to stay.」

This stylish place to stay is a perfect base for trips to Hay on Wye, Herefordshire and the Black Mountains. Secured within the boundaries of a larger 16th Century Black and White House, the cottage is perfectly situated in the centre of a pleasant village, walking distance to a nice pub and the river Wye, 6 miles away from the highly popular town of Hay on Wye, famous for its books and annual international literary and music festivals. Surrounded by gardens full of flowers and birdsong…
I'm a working professional living in the countryside
The cottage is to be found in the centre of a small village in between Hereford and Hay on Wye thru to Brecon. The village sits in the middle of the famous Wye Valley. It has a nice Pub that serves food within 100m walk of the cottage and a Fishing Shop that specialises in Fishing equipment. The cottage itself is within the boundaries of a securely gated larger House of the classic Herefordshire 'Black and White' Variety. Parking is free and secure being in a secured and monitored carpark right next to the cottage. The cottage is located just off the road between Hereford and Hay on Wye. Hereford is approx 14 miles away, Hay on Wye around 6 miles away and a fantastic farm shop about 5 miles away.
