The property has 8 mostly double rooms and two of them can be triple use. It also has rooms with private bathrooms that are located in the basement of the property, despite this, they have good lighting and ventilation. The house is strategically located at the entrance of the town (coming from the city), it has a very large parking lot and is surrounded by pine trees and the beautiful Vikura river and its promenade. We are a bed and breakfast business, Icelandic law says we are not obliged to provide a kitchen as such, however there is a small office that has a microwave, kettle, toaster and on some occasions (and with authorization, we can make an exception) to cook pasta or bake a pizza.

The house is located at the entrance of the town, coming from Reykiavik, it is 500m from the black sand beach and 100m from the path that goes up to Reinisfjall. To the east, there is the best view of the property, the new part of Vik, the church and the Vikura river with its promenade that lights up at night thanks to the hydroelectric generator that can be seen in operation in the machine house . From that same point, start the trekking towards Grafargil and towards Hatta and Heidarvatn. To the west, just 5 minutes walking and crossing a charming wooden bridge, you reach the center of town, where you can find the bank, the liquor store, the tourist information point, the swimming pool, the accesses to the beaches, the Katla Geopark interpretation center and several restaurants and places of interest
