It's a classic, three rooms over a sedate Pub. The room was eclectic and cozy. The owner Martin was warm and gracious. The pub serverd a great steak and the continental breakfast really set me up for the day. I like small hotels and pubs with rooms.

Everything about the hotel was good for our needs, the location by the river, the room was clean and well equipped, the car parking was excellent, all the staff that we came across were particularly pleasant and helpful, especially in the restaurant. The CitySightseeing Tourist Bus has a stop near the hotel, which was most useful.

Despite the pub downstairs, I couldn’t hear any disruptive noise at all especially that they’ve restriction after 11pm. Perfect place for those seeking affordable and no-frill accommodation without compromising comfort.
