Situated in Coal Harbour, 22 km from Port Hardy Ferry Terminal, The Oceanfront Inn on Stephens Bay features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and water sports facilities. The hospitality of the host Michelle was outstanding. We arrived at 1:00 am and she was wide awake, waiting for us and giving directions how to reach to the property, took us to the room and made us feel secure & comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful, top of the world. We have been to many part of the world and stayed at many 5 star hotels. But the breakfast served at the Inn on Stephens Bay better than the 5 star hotels. It was healthy, just melts down in the mouth. The lawn and outside of the property is well maintained.

Nimpkish Hotel is located on the beachfront in Alert Bay, Cormorant Island. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. What a fantastic place! Very warm welcome from Penba and his husband who are managing this beautiful hotel. We looooved the oceanfront outside patio which got everything to feel cozy and relaxed : hammock, comfy sofas, you name it! Very quiet, room and the whole hotel was sparkling! Penba is also a wonderful cook so we had dinner in the bright living room, gazing at the ocean while eating a super flavourful homemade palek paneer! I walked all along the seaside and up to see the world's tallest totem pole, and looked at all the Kwakwa̱ka̱ʼwakw art and history along the walk. So instructive and beautiful! Did not go to the cultural center as I arrived too late but it is a good excuse to come back and stay at the Nimpkish Hotel again!

Seine Boat Inn offers accommodation in Alert Bay, on Cormorant Island. A scenic ferry ride takes guests to the property. Rooms include a flat-screen TV. It was exquisite….beautiful view…tranquil and real escapism….going back in time. Terrylynn was delightful and offers a personal touch. Good local store selling everything. Locals very welcoming. 206 was the best!

This Campbell River accommodation boasts views of the Beach, Lighthouse and Discovery Passage. All cottages offer a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. Free WiFi is provided. Our host Cindy, was lovely and looked after us so we’ll in her beautiful home. Everything was spotless, the enormous hot tub was great and the breakfasts were out of this world!!

The Tofino Paddler’s Inn is perched on the waterfront of downtown Tofino. The building has a lot of character being around a 100 years old and the town’s original hotel. The Inn has five rooms. perfect location and beautiful view from the kitchen!! clean and the room was the right size for 2 people.

This hotel is located on Long Lake, 10 minutes from downtown Nanaimo, British Columbia. It serves a daily continental breakfast and all rooms feature a lake view from a balcony or patio. Very clean, comfortable room. Great lake view. All staff were very friendly, polite and professional. Nice little breakfast.

E-Bikes and Kayaks: Explore Victoria like never before with our complimentary e-bikes, kayaks, and SUP adventures. The rooms were exceptionally clean, the kitchen well-appointed, linens spotless and many little extra touches like tissues and high quality toiletries, tea, coffee, and bottles of water in the fridge. The breakfast buffet was always freshly stocked and attended by a staff member, and the owner came around at breakfast time to welcome and talk to guests. We also were able to reserve the free e-bikes and kayaks during our stay. This is an amazing bonus which made our stay in Victoria memorable. The Robin Hood is a classic Canadian motor hotel that has become an iconic part of the neighbourhood. Locals we met praised its commitment to high standards and great value for families. We will definitely stay there again when are next in Victoria.

The Hiker Huts is located in Port Renfrew. The inn provides both free WiFi and free private parking. Selected rooms have a kitchen with a fridge, an oven and a microwave. All units include bed linen. Clean, secure, basic! Did the job and great location

Quality Inn is located in Nanaimo, within 12 km of Wildplay Element Park and 3.3 km of Petroglyph Park. Exactly what we were looking for. A nice, clean, comfortable room located near downtown and the harbor for a reasonable price with parking. A few semi-related tips. Neck Point Park is about 15-20 mins away with incredible views of the ocean and potential to spot marine life (we just missed a pod of orcas). Also the Save on Food in the Nanaimo suburb was the best grocery store we visited in the island/Vancouver/Calgary if you are cooking your own meals.

Meares Vista Inn is a family-operated motel located in Tofino. Free WiFi and free private parking are available at this laid-back property. There is a shared kitchen at the property. The location was great, the room was clean and comfortable and the staff I met were pleasant
