Nimpkish Hotel is located on the beachfront in Alert Bay, Cormorant Island. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. What a fantastic place! Very warm welcome from Penba and his husband who are managing this beautiful hotel. We looooved the oceanfront outside patio which got everything to feel cozy and relaxed : hammock, comfy sofas, you name it! Very quiet, room and the whole hotel was sparkling! Penba is also a wonderful cook so we had dinner in the bright living room, gazing at the ocean while eating a super flavourful homemade palek paneer! I walked all along the seaside and up to see the world's tallest totem pole, and looked at all the Kwakwa̱ka̱ʼwakw art and history along the walk. So instructive and beautiful! Did not go to the cultural center as I arrived too late but it is a good excuse to come back and stay at the Nimpkish Hotel again!

Seine Boat Inn offers accommodation in Alert Bay, on Cormorant Island. A scenic ferry ride takes guests to the property. Rooms include a flat-screen TV. the view was amazing and the room we had was at the front facing the water with complete privacy.

This Campbell River accommodation boasts views of the Beach, Lighthouse and Discovery Passage. All cottages offer a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. Free WiFi is provided. Everything about the driftwood by the sea is amazing. Perfect location, short walk into town plus the beach is right across the road. The owners are beyond kind and helpful and have made it feel like a second home. With cooking facilities for those nights you need a home cooked meal!

The Tofino Paddler’s Inn is perched on the waterfront of downtown Tofino. The building has a lot of character being around a 100 years old and the town’s original hotel. The Inn has five rooms. I expected a regular hostel, but was met with something looking more like a hotel! The owners and staff were all super friendly, giving loads of tips on what to do in Tofino. The rooms were clean and tidy, just like the common area and kitchen. We were able to park our bikes in the backyard and also leave our wetsuits to dry in the drying room overnight, which was very kind! The location is also perfect: in the middle of "downtown" Tofino, with restaurants, shopping and grocery store nearby.

This hotel is located on Long Lake, 10 minutes from downtown Nanaimo, British Columbia. It serves a daily continental breakfast and all rooms feature a lake view from a balcony or patio. Friendly Staff, very good room with lake view, location and the lake good to swim and to paddle.

But, as we've been to hundreds of hotels, this is definitely the best value based on its price. Many extras, staff and the public "great room" is really great

Ubytovanie Quality Inn sa nachádza v destinácii Nanaimo 12 km od miesta Wildplay Element Park a 3,3 km od miesta Petroglyph Park a hostia sú tu ubytovaní v izbách. Exactly what we were looking for. A nice, clean, comfortable room located near downtown and the harbor for a reasonable price with parking. A few semi-related tips. Neck Point Park is about 15-20 mins away with incredible views of the ocean and potential to spot marine life (we just missed a pod of orcas). Also the Save on Food in the Nanaimo suburb was the best grocery store we visited in the island/Vancouver/Calgary if you are cooking your own meals.

Meares Vista Inn is a family-operated motel located in Tofino. Free WiFi and free private parking are available at this laid-back property. There is a shared kitchen at the property. Easy location, a nice walk into downtown, on a pretty lake, super comfortable bed, easy check in/out
