We loved this walk - family with tween/teen kids.

We loved this walk - family with tween/teen kids. Definitely do this in the morning or evening. We started the walk around 4:45pm, and got to the top in time for a drink and snack at one of the places overlooking the padi fields, and managed to get back just before dark. Keep going when you get through the gates at the top…it’s hard to know how much further the walk is but just keep going until you reach the padi fields and you’ll start to see a few restaurants dotted on either side where you can watch the sunset.

It was over grown and we didn't realise we were on the walk until we had walked 2 kms past it. Still a pleasent walk. Would be nice from a drone though. There are lovely restaurants up there and transport to take you back to Ubud centre.

What a great walk in nature .

What a great walk in nature . Our property manager dropped us off at the top and we just walked down , but it was fantatic . The view and all the art , lots of places to stop on the way , or just a fantastic walk! We plan to do it again in July - up and down this time. Early or in the evening is best before it gets too hot! A great walk before breakfast or even stop in at one of the many cafes on the way back down ..Stunning scenery, I highly reccomend this walk!

Try the duck at Murni's Warung by the bridge.

Try the duck at Murni's Warung by the bridge. You can sit on the lower floor by the stream and enjoy the view and the sound of the water. You can take a walk over Tjampuhan Ridge from the top in the morning, when you ask for transport to the village. The view is so nice. At noon it is getting hot and crowded.

I liked the location of the hotel. It is located along the main rd and is quite near/walkable to some tourist attractions (Campuhan Ridge Walk, Ubud Palace, Saraswati Temple, and Ubud Market). The staff & host are also very accommodating, they give good recommendations for local restaurants that serve balinese cuisine.

the omelette is perfect, the mee goreng is delicious, the fresh fruits top it off and start a great day to explore Bali. The location: Campuhan Ridge Walk is just down the road. Easy walk to several very good restaurants. Money changer is nearby.

The resort was beautiful and clean with amazing staff. The only thing that was not necessarily clear was the relative difficulty of getting to the city center. Unless you are willing to walk 30 mins down Campuhan Ridge Walk, it's not the easiest getting a taxi and Grabs/Gojeks are not really accepted by the locals.

The staff was very friendly. Location is close to many amenities, less than 15 minutes by motorbike to reach destinations such as Ubud market, monkey forest and Campuhan ridge walk. When not going anywhere, many different restaurants, cafes and food stalls are just a stone-throw away.
