We appreciate the special services and thoughtfulness of Mr Owada & Mr Wataru. Owada-san went out of the way to secure a car rental for us (cars were all booked out as it was high Sakura season) and even drove us to the car rental company and stayed with us throughout to ensure we got all the rental car formalities done smoothly. They helped us with the navigation and direction for the places of interest we wanted to visit. I was given a surprise cake (very yummy!) and the lovely touch of a champagne for my birthday. They accommodated our breakfast requests - Mrs Owada's cooking was excellent. We enjoyed our breakfasts so much. Owada-san secured a lunch booking for us at Tenfuji (the best sushi restaurant in Aomori) - the food was superb! Upon leaving Hirosaki, I accidentally left my scarf on the train - Wataru made a special effort to retrieve it and posted it to me in Tokyo. They are truly excellent hoteliers who take the effort and time to ensure their guests fully enjoy their stay at their facility. Their above and beyond kindness and thoughtfulness made our stay and visit to Hirosaki very memorable. That is what sets them apart from the rest.
