Aoraki Court Motel is a modern accommodation located in Aoraki Mount Cook National Park. All units feature great views of surrounding mountains and Mount Sefton. The rooms very modern and clean! The kitchen area was well stocked and the bathroom had great soaps and had a fantastic shower and tub. The best part however was having the huge window that had a stunning view of mount Cook!! Just amazing!! Also having laundry available was great! (Does cost $4 for wash, $5 for dry but really nice quick machines!) Beds were comfortable and location was awesome. Only a 3 min drive or a 25 min walk to Hook Valley Trail. (And 5 min drive to Mt Cook airport for Heli adventures) Great walking trails behind the hotel as well and several decent food options around the area.

BigSky Motels offers air-conditioned accommodation in Omarama. The accommodation features ski storage space, as well as a tennis court and barbecue facilities. Very clean and modern little apartment. Well equipped. Great bed. Patio chairs to sit outside in the sunshine. Very quiet so great night’s sleep.

Set in the peaceful countryside of Omarama, ASURE Sierra Motel offers heated rooms featuring a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Some rooms offer mountain views. Owner is very kind to lend us bike, olive oil, and vinegar for short-distance trips and cooking in the kitchen of the room. The property is well-equipped with basically whatever you need! Check-in was also speedy and owner as always gave a bottle of milk though we are lactose intolerant.

Situated in the centre of the village, Lake Tekapo Village Motel offers rooms with lake views. Free WiFi and free private parking is available. Twizel is a 40-minute drive from the property. We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay. Perfect location and friendly people.

Mountain Chalets is just 5 minutes’ drive from Lake Ruataniwha. It features a barbecue area with outdoor seating and unlimited free WiFi. Free parking is available on site. We loved everything about our stay, cabin was really nice and clean, heater worked and had everything we needed. Location was really nice and the place was quiet.

Situated in Fairlie, 28 km from Mt. Dobson, Mackenzie Motels features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Rooms come with a patio with views of the garden. The host was super kind and the room was well equipped and clean. What I liked the most is its heating system. I was coming down with flu but thanks to the heating mattress and the heater, I got much better. I was a little worried about the noise when booking since it's close to the road but it was quiet.

Conveniently located next to a historical pub and restaurant, Mt Dobson Motel offers self-catering accommodation with unlimited free WiFi. Everything was excellent! Best accommodation in our one month stay in NZ. The landlady was very friendly! I can recommend this place for everyone!

Set within the Burkes Pass gateway to Mackenzie Country, Burkes Pass Country Motels is centrally located for skiing at Mt Dobson and Roundhill and day trips to Mt Cook. Everything was new and clean. Comfortable bed and furniture. Nice to have a full size fridge. We drove 7k to Kimbell and had a wonderful dinner at the Creekside pub. It was fun taking the walking tour around Burkes pass the next morning. An interesting historical place.
