Located in Nesselwängle in the Tannheim Valley, the Via Salina is directly located on the shore of the Haldensee lake. Certain rooms come with a balcony with lake and mountain views. This is the most gorgeous setting of all the hotels during my month long Europe vacation! The hotel is decorated perfectly for the beautiful mountain setting. The dinners and breakfasts were amazing, so glad we included them in our stay. It was nice after a day of hiking to know we didn't have to look for a place for dinner - our hotel had probably the best option around for miles! The staff was extremely helpful for hiking and adventure suggestions also.

Located at 1,050 metres above sea level in Jungholz, Berghoteltirol features a spa area with mountain views and an indoor pool. It also has a bowling alley. It’s a bit of a vintage style hotel, very cozy yet everything was clean and well kept. Beautiful sights from the room, excellent breakfast and dinner buffets. Enough play activities for kids, inside and outside. Staff was very warm and welcoming. Great pool area and outside jacuzzi with mountain backdrop is like a dream.

The breakfast and dinner were both absolutely delicious.

El Alpengasthof zur Post está situado en Schattwald, en el valle de Tannheim, a solo 150 metros del teleférico de Wannenjoch, y ofrece un restaurante tradicional tirolés y una zona de spa con sauna... The breakfast was extremely good! A lot of choices, also homemade stuff that one doesn't usually find in a hotel breakfast. We also loved the reception/bar lady, who was super nice to us and attentive during the whole evening and breakfast time.
