Pousada Aquino Mar har ett perfekt läge i området Cabore i Paraty, 15 minuters promenad från Jabaquara strand, 1,9 km från Praia do Cais och 2 km från Pontal strand. This pousada is 1.5 km from the old part of Paraty. For us, it was not a problem since we preferred to take a walk along the canal in the evenings to and from our favourite restaurants and pubs situated in the downtown area of Paraty. This is a very neat, new, well-maintained, and very clean pousada with a very welcoming staff. Air conditioning is available everywhere. Plugs are also available in the room (not near the bed, though!). The rooms are acceptable in size, with a large, comfortable double bed. Cleaning in the room and bathroom was done on a daily basis. Shower pressure was acceptable, and hot water was provided via an instant hot water electric generator (like we noticed in most of the pousadas in Brazil). Hot water at the sink is not available. We have asked for a room overlooking the rear courtyard since, on the roadside, the noise from the street would not be acceptable to us. Windows does not offer soundproofing in Brazil, as we have noticed in many pousadas; therefore, it would be good to carefully select your location. Flat 40" TV with already-available Netflix so that we could follow our favourite TV series. The Internet in the room on TV is via cable; therefore, everything played smoothly. Parking places are available in front of the pousada and away from city traffic. Security cameras monitor the property around the clock, and a pool inside Pousada's courtyard is also available and included in the price only for guests. A small but efficient fridge we had in the room. The property has its own back-up generator therefore in case of blackouts in the area everything is still runing smoothly autonomously. A big plus! In case you have forgotten to buy water or juices from outside, this pousada can sell you water and non-alcohol beverages.

Pousada Villa Verano ligger i Paraty, mindre än 1 km från Jabaquara strand, och erbjuder boende med en utomhuspool, gratis privat parkering, en trädgård och en terrass. The owners were very friendly and very helpfull. Would absolutely stay here again, highly recommend!

Villa Tiê Paraty ligger i Paraty, 3 minuters promenad från Jabaquara strand, och har en utomhuspool, trädgård och utsikt över bergen. Beautiful traditional guesthouse in a little garden oasis where you can relax and enjoy beautiful views of the garden/and or mountains. The property is super clean, and perfectly managed by staff who go out of their way to help you. Breakfast is a variety of tropical fruit, pastries, and scrambled eggs.

Pousada Frezza Mergulho ligger i Praia Vermelha och har ett fitnesscenter, en trädgård, en restaurang och en bar. Good location on a small calm beach. Helpful staff. Modern A/C.

Pousada Aquarela do Mar ligger i Abraão, en kort bit från Abraao Beach, och har luftkonditionerade rum och en trädgård. Boendet erbjuder rumsservice och gratis WiFi. We really enjoyed our stay here! The location is perfect, just a few steps from the beach, but still quiet. The staff is super kind and helpfull, especially Erin (Sorry if I misspelled your name) The breakfast is great as well. The room has everything you need and the view from the balcony, wow!

In Hospedagem ligger i Paraty, 6,4 km från Paraty Bus station och 6 km från Puppet Theatre, och erbjuder rum med luftkonditionering och eget badrum. Great and quiet location, warm hospitality. You won't find anything better for this price

Pousada Costa Verde ligger i Abraão, 5 minuters promenad från Abraao Beach, och har en trädgård och utsikt över bergen. We had a perfect experience. The hotel is located in a more quite and authentic part of the small village of Abrãao, while only being a few minute walking distant from the beach and all restaurants/bars. Our room was very clean and had all the needed equipment. The best part of our stay was the friendliness and hospitality of the owner Ricardo. He gave us good advice on everything hiking, beaches and gastronomy. Finally he even organized the shipping of a headphone I forgot in the room back to my flat in Rio, which I received the same day! I strongly recommend anyone who visits Ilha grande to stay in this wonderful place.

Mar da Lua ligger i Praia de Araçatiba och har en utomhuspool. Här finns en restaurang, en gemensam lounge och en bar. Boendet har en 24-timmarsreception och gratis WiFi. Paradiset! Var dock beredda på att strömmen ofta försvinner på ön, då kan det vara bra med en powerbank som drivs med solceller. De har generator på hotellet om strömmen går, så det blir inte katastrof. Ska ni bo här åk båttaxi direkt från Angra dos Reis till hotellet, båttaxi från Abrao onödigt och svindyrt och Abrao ligger inte nästgårds. Detta är stället med ren och skär avkoppling med möjlighet till de fina stränderna du sett. Dessutom får man du uppleva det genuina Brasiliens här och dess lunk. Ett lugnt ställe med vandringsleder runtom med djuren direkt inpå knuten. Inga bilvägar men mycket stigar att utforska till andra stränder. Fantastisk mat oxå. Glöm inte att se Lopez Mendez och Aventureiro om vädret tillåter. Fantastiskt! Här kan ni få se sköldpaddor, apor, kollibri mm och har ni tur delfiner. ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

Hospedagem Cantinho Da Vitoria ligger i Abraão, 4 minuters promenad från Abraao Beach, och har en gemensam lounge, terrass och utsikt över bergen. The owner was super nice and friendly lady, she did not speak English, but was always welcoming us very warm, was making fresh breakfast every morning, offering coffee and cookies in the afternoon. The room had A/C and the shower with hot water. Perfect!

Pousada Lilás ligger precis stranden i Angra dos Reis, en kort bit från Garatucaia och 17 minuters promenad från Praia de Caetés.
