The owner was very hospitable and gave us a detailed introduction to the surrounding attractions and food. The location is close to the sea, surrounded by sea views, restaurants, and some historical buildings, the bed in the room is quite comfortable and we had a deep sleep.

The wife is a painter and the husband is a glass artist. The walls of the cottage are decorated with their wonderful art. Away from the town of Powell River, but close enough for convenience.

The view from the room and the restaurant are amazing: right over the ocean. I think this was the hotel where we actually spend more time in the hotel than elsewhere on our trip, since it great location on the ocean, the great food in the restaurant and the very friendly and helpful staff. They even helped getting enough loonies for the washing machine and dryer. Breakfast was included which we didn't expect so that was a nice surprise too.
